Have you ever wonderd what is used for 'fake formula" in reborn baby bottles? Or how the nippels of the baby bottles are sealed? Well... I decided to do some researching on what is used for "fake formula" for my own babies and found these few tips through the net and some are from my own experimenting. Each idea is credit to whom and where I found it. I also added pictures, taken by me. Enjoy!

I tryed several glues to seal the nippels and realized to research the make of the nippel which is "Silicone" and found that there is a Silicone sealer. The product I purchased is, Permatex, Clear RTV Silicone Adhesive Sealant.
To seal the hole I put the nippel inside out then I took a tooth pick and dipped it into the tube of sealant and had only a very tiny bit on the tip of the toothpick. I then adjusted the sealant in the hole with the toothpick and left it over night to dry. The next day I then made the nipple right side out, I added fake formula, put the bottle back together and squeezed the bottle upside down and shook it with out any leaking.

I went to Wall-Mart and chose Ultra Downy, pure essentials for my fake formual. I realy liked the color because it realy looks like baby formula!
